Dr. Enrique Valdivia is orginally from Peru where he completed his medical degree at Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia, School of Medicine. He completed his post-graudate training in internal medicine and gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital in 2003. During fellowship he received training in therapeutic biliary endoscopy (ERCP) and liver diseases. He has participated in research projects, published several journal articles and presented at local and national meetings. He is currently a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterology Association. He joined Arrowhead Gastroenterology in 2006. As a native Peruvian he is fluent in Spanish. During his free time he enjoys playing tennis.
